Photo Quality: Polaroid One600 vs. Fuji mini 25

Whats the difference between the photo quality of the Fuji Mini 25 and that of a Polaroid one600?


From What I've seen, it seems the Polaroid one600 photos have a very vintage quality, while Fuji mini 25 photos are saturated too but have a more refined quality that's not as vintage looking.. Is this my imagination or am I onto something?

I'm interested in buying one of those two cameras. I know the fuji mini 25 is more modern, has more functions, and its film is cheaper, but all I really care is photo quality.

Also, still talking about photo quality, what about Polaroid 300 vs. Fuji mini 25? I've heard they're basically the same thing (photo quality wise), but what do you think?

Is there any reason you want the Instax Mini as opposed to the wide? The mini pictures are only the size of a credit card, which makes anything but close-ups hard to see. Compared to the Polaroid 300, the Instax 25 will be better as it has automatic exposure as opposed to the manual exposure of the 300.

The film for the One600 is not anywhere near as good as that for the Instax; Impossible has done some great things in bringing Polaroid-compatible integral film to market, but the sharpness and contrast is just not there yet.

I want to take photos that look like I took them in the 60's. Im looking for a saturated quality thats not very polished. The camera would need to work well in a room that isn't well lit. What camera would you recommend?

instax wide. good photos under all circumstances. still instant magic as in the "good old days". much cheaper.

if a heavy grain and waiting 30 minutes for the blue shield to disappear doesn't bother you, pola one with the new color protection from impossible. the new colors are way better. shipping included it's nevertheless 3€ (4$) per photo.

I did a search for "pola one camera" and didn't find anything. Does it have a more detailed name? Please provide a link if you can.

Or do you mean the Polaroid one 600?

And when you say "instax wide" youre referring to the film, right (the affordable ones that sell on amazon) or just the size of the film?

I guess it is about both: the Instax-Wide film has not only a larger image frame than Instax-Mini, but is also wider in its side-to side relation (1/1.6 vs. 1/1.3).

how about polaroid one 600 vs. Fuji Instax 2010? Both use wide film. Which camera is better ?

the camera in your image is a polaroid one600, probably the classic, it's a fixed focus. there are better models of the same series which can focus closer like the one600 pro, ultra and jobpro. they have a kind of autofocus, but it's very basic, it's either close or distant. all of them use 600 film in the classic polaroid format, which is approx. square, no wide format.

fuji wide refers to the camera and the film. the current camera model is the fuji 210, now available in different colors, technically they are all the same. they have 2 focus ranges, but you have to choose manually.

imho both cameras are not very sophisticated, but they do a good job. the fuji would come with a warranty. the difference is in the film as I explained above.
