Someone reached out to me asking to buy a print of one of my photos in 11 x 14 inches.

I live in California, they live in Spain. I usually use Printique, but Printique doesn't ship overseas.
I went on a couple of French websites I know (photostation and nationphoto), but they won't let me place an order for just one photo - either that or they do not print larger than 30cm prints.

Can someone recommend a good online photo printing service that ships prints to Spain and that I can print 27 x 35 cm or larger, and can order just one print - so I can deliver this order?
For some reason I would have thought it would be easy - it's not.

(Hopefully I am posting this in the right forum, if not please kindly let me know in a comment and I will migrate).

Good luck with your search.
I might suggest you edit your thread title (if you still can) to add a reference to Spain - that might attract more appropriate interest.
If you are too late to make a change, report your post and ask a moderator for the change.

Frankly if I were you, I would have it printed locally so that you can inspect it and then ship it yourself between sheets of corrugated cardboard or better yet plastic. It might cost a little more but then they are paying for you to send your best work.

I understand the reasoning and I can see it... The thing is - I have a price grid that starts low and goes up depending on units or size, and if I did that it would cost me more than I charge. That and also I think it would more likely get damaged between california and spain versus shipped directly to the client

I ended up going with a website called "Photoweb" that ships prints all over europe and wasn't too pricey. Looking forward to see what the print looks like when the buyer gets it! If she's not happy I'll refund her, get a refund and try something else.

Europe`s major photofinisher is CEWE. They have plants/dependancies in whole Europe (except Italy).

Hi! I am from Spain, although haven't used many lab services for the last years since I live in northern Europe. I think it's better to do something in the continent, or even more local if possible. With the current situation, some transport links are problematic. UK-EU has been (or fortunately was) very problematic due to the new lockdown. Within the country things do work rather ok, but there may be delays.

I see the decision has been taken, but I can give a top of mind list of services. Mostly webs are in spanish and you can find a list of the services, some of these may not do finishing (Copia = copy/print, Impresión = print)

Carmencitalab (Valencia): they are one of the new type of film hybrid lab but do "fine art" inkjet prints
lab35 (Madrid): Newer type of film lab, they advertise prints
Interphoto (Madrid): Old school film lab with full choice of services, also optical darkroom printing BW and RA4 + machine C-prints.
Copia lab (Barcelona): B&W boutique lab with fine art color printing and traditional B&W printing.
VMFoto (Barcelona): Film and digital lab. Seems like they do inkjet and C-prints.

More EU wide industrial labs are CEWE, Saal and Whitewall

Whitewall meanwhile has been bought by CEWE. Whereas Whitewall claim to be still indepent, confirmed by CEWE, nevertheless CEWE list them just as dependency.

When I go on the website to try it out, the maximum format for the print is 13 x 18 (ridiculously small) - and also it's impossible to order just one product to ship to the client if the product isn't "expensive enough" (small format etc). In this regard, it would make it an unusable solution for my needs.

Thank you! I agree with you that sending the file to a lab that is local to the recipient makes more sense - this is what I ended up doing.
CEWE didn't work for the reason I explained above... If I have another order from Spain, I will look into these! (and brush up on my Spanish...)

On both, their german and spanish site they offer poster-printing which they state to be printing as big as 1x3m.

But I never used them and never tried any of their order forms.

You could also try The Printspace www.printspace.co.uk who have a a service centre in London and Germany so all European destinations will be serviced from Germany. I use them for exhibition prints, the quality is good with many print/paper options.

FWIW, I just ordered 2 test prints (light jet on Ilford FB) from Whitewall. I didn't realize they would were even in Europe. Order placed last weekend, just got the prints today ($6 international Fedex shipping). Shipped from Germany, so I would imagine they would ship to Europe.

I've not used them before, but the test prints came out nice, shipping was cheap, and production was quick. They might be more expensive than a budget option, but worth looking into.
