right, but as soon as it is captured in an apparatus, any apparatus it loses its integrity .. sure zen here and now totally get that .. but the only way a scene retains its integrity is with ones eyes

but even then its probably not faithful because the instant our memory is involved that's the end.
jnantz -- I think a scene loses its 'integrity' not just because of memory and how that changes the scene, but the translation of the electrical impulses sent to our brains from light reacting with the retina is not a one-plus-one construction. The memory created in the first place has no integrity with reality.
