Dear colleagues,

I've taken a look at what I've contributed to the topic over the past two years and believe that I've said enough.

I'm pleased that, for the first time, web-based service and repair tutorials for electronic SLRs like the Minolta 9000, 7000, 7000i, and especially the Canon T90 have been offered in depth, and that these contributions are enjoying good traffic. These include posts on other Japanese manufacturers of photographic equipment.

The latest response here has been disappointing, to be honest.

Perhaps the contributions weren't reader-friendly enough, or were too detailed and long. But it could also be that the topic simply doesn't interest enough.

I've therefore decided not to post any new project reports on PHOTRIO, but I'll remain available in the forum as a commentator and for any questions that may arise.

In any case, I will put together a tutorial tomorrow on the service and repair of electronic SLRs, as announced here:

Thank you for your attention - and never give up on repairs! 🙃

I would be happy if the sticky thread

remained open for interested parties, and thank you @koraks @MattKing @Sean for the opportunity and support.

Perhaps a dedicated DIY repairer will be found who would like to continue the topic.

Greetings from Vienna,

Andreas
