Photo dating using watermark

Can anyone tell me which year Kodak used the words 'this paper was made by Kodak' in a continuous scroll across the back of their photographs? I am trying to date an old photograph.

I have seen photos in our family collection spanning over many many decades with variations of 'This paper was made by Kodak' in a continuous scroll across the back. I would say that without a scan of the watermark it would be near to impossible to date the image.

By the way, backprints on photo papers are often referred to as watermarks but a watermark is something quite different.
