Hi,

Yes, I'm new here, which I know means that some of you simply won't deal with me. That's okay. For the rest of you, I sold (and bought) on eBay for literally decades before I finally gave up on those crooks (for the second time). I have no interest in cheating anyone. I'd just like to get a fair price for what I'm offering without getting ripped off. PayPal is fine with me, and I don't ask you to use Friends & Family.

So, let's start off with some books. I saw that there are other photo book collectors, here.

EDIT: Since I forgot to mention shipping in my first posting of these books, I'll include the cost of Media Mail shipping on these. The price listed is the total you pay. I'm also adjusting a couple prices downwards.

SOLD! $15 - Ghost Towns of the West, A guide to towns and mining camps that opened the West. Field photography and research by William Carter. This book is ex-libris. It is the revised edition from 1978. It shows use but is in very good condition, with a sturdy binding and no damage other than cosmetic wear to the cover. It is an outstanding resource for anyone wanting to find ghost towns though, being 40+ years old, many of the towns listed may no longer exist. But, some do, and this book includes maps to them!

$12.50 - Aurora's Winter Waltz, Northern Lights Photography by Michael Klensch. Smallish, but gorgeous, photos of the Northern Lights as seen from Skagway, Alaska.

SOLD! $12.50 - Edward Weston, Aperture's Masters of Photography series. Smallish format book with full-page reproductions of some of Weston's best photos. The dust cover is a little rough, but the book is undamaged.

SOLD! $45 - Edward Weston : Fifty Years. Another Aperture book, this is a massive volume containing 150 of Weston's images and claiming to be "The definitive volume of his photography work." It includes an extensive and well-written biography of the man, as well. The book weighs over 6 pounds, so I advise shipping it via Media Mail, but it's your call. The dust cover is rough and repaired with cello tape in several places, but the book is undamaged.

PM received. The Ghost Town book is yours. Details in my PM reply.

If anyone knows how to edit my original post, I'll mark the book as sold. I was able to do it the day I posted it, but... <shrug>
