For the past couple of years I've been immersed in the wet plate collodion process. Now I'm not a re-enactor but I have agreed to do a couple events. So now everything has to be period correct. After much research I have come up with my outdoor period correct photo studio. Here is a photo of what I have built. Right under the main ridge pole there are ties to tie on a back drop. I also have a silk scrim made to help diffuse harsh light entering from the side of the awning. It will just unroll and tie to the horizontal awning pole on either side.

Oops, Sorry about that. The first pic is of a period correct camp table that the top just lifts off and the legs fold up for transport. (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
