Being an incorrigible seeker of....pun intended...developer perfection, this is on developer that has long intrigued me. But I've never gone done this rabbit hole mostly because of the paucity of film/time information.
A few years back I dabbled a bit with DK-50 diluted 1:1. The ONLY film that officially uses that is Tri-X! Makes no sense to me, but who am I to argue with the Great Yellow Father?
So when I wanted to try this with Plus-X, I just compared the time of each film in D-76. That gave me a "reactivity" proportion. I don't remember the exact times or ratios, but danged if it was spot on.
You might want to try something like that. Although the times, films, and dilutions presented by Ed Buffaloe will be a challenge.
IIRC, Perfection was sold as tablets.
