I did a poll before which was about "your photography". I like to include casuals for those who have more modern cameras as well. Back in the day digital cameras were not available or affordable to the typical person. They took a film camera to Disneyland, to the beach, birthday parties, concerts etc. I want to compare this and given this is a film users group who probably use film a lot more than other people. Ie - if digital wasn't invented people would still spend money on film and take the photo.

Maybe exclude professional work cos that might be dictated by its working environment and you may not have an option.
An approx. figure would do.

Includes:
Your serious photography and casual photography that was/is important enough to keep.
Family, friends, vacations, meals, birthdays, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, city events again worth keeping.
Photography that you were asked to capture for people, so they do have some importance.
Photography that you capture of others and you gave people, unless they were so casual it didn't matter if the person didn't get the pictures.
Include those selfies etc if they really like it. Let's be honest some people do see them important enough to print the odd one out or change their desktop wallpaper.

Excludes:
Selfies and similar kind of events, unless you or others didn't care if it was captured or not.
Test images.
Taking a photo of a garment at the store and come home to think about it or that box of cereals to go to the supermarket or that tourist map etc.

I guess we're trying to meet our poll quota for 2016 before it ends.

Perhaps seven new ones, one for each day of the week.

I don't make images with my phone, I make phone calls with it.

By putting up a second poll you are questioning your first one.

So many people redefined the terms of the first one at will and in different ways that it seems reasonable that the poster is clearer about what is being asked.

none of my photographs are casuals,
whether i am using my phone, dslr,
box camera, anything inbetween
they all have intent, i'm not sure what a casual photograph is,
if it has to do with attire, i don't usually dress formally, unless
i am on my high wheel velocipede, then i where a suit, tie and bowler hat.
and if i am on a low wheel velocipede, i have a parasol for my passenger

My vote is 99,99% (???) ... because for me the excludes are includes, all my tests are serious ...

To ask a question like this on a purely analogue photographic site is like asking a butcher if eating meat is good for you.

I usually 'exposed' the film to form the latent image. Capture?? Don't let that 'color' get away...
