Back in 2002-2003 i was getting started in photography and i remember looking in stores and brochures, and that three cameras were marketed for beginners in the same sort of price range. These were Nikon F55, Canon EOS 300, and Pentax MZ-60. I got the Canon, but always wounderd about what the Pentax was like.
Well, today i got one and used it for a roll of film. It is pretty terrible, the winding sound makes me think that the camera wont survive very long, buttons are cheap, and everyting is of bad quality. Even the battery cover is cheap, and the scroll wheel is just a two way button.
Is there any Pentax beginner SLR cameras from this era that are actually good cameras?
