I'm looking for a repair shop that can work on a Pentax LX. I've sent it to Eric Hendrickson a couple of times in the past, but he no longer works on this model.
My Pentax LX is in need of a cleaning. It was partially dropped in mud. I wiped all the mud as best as I could out of the seams. The problem I'm having is that the lever for the self timer/aperture preview now gets stuck any time it's moved. Other than that, the focus, metering, and shutter speeds all appear to be working properly. So, it's nothing too serious.
What happened was that I was walking on salt flats, and then I broke through the salt layer like it was ice, and I immediately sank up to my knees in mud. I nearly lost my shoes trying to pull myself out of that situation.
