DESCRIPTION: Pentax LX Camera Body With Front Cap. Serial no.5342574. Batteries not included. As shown.

CONDITION: Very good condition overall with some small areas of finish/paint wear and tiny dings/scratches, but nothing serious at all. The mirror bumper foam is degraded and is sticking onto the mirror on the edge, so the mirror bumper foam will need to be replaced. Shutter fires at all speeds in the automatic and manual settings. Meter and LED's are working, film advance is working, frame counter is working. Viewfinder is very good except for a couple of scratched areas at the top of the viewfinder (focus) screen that does not hinder focusing accurately. This model of Pentax has a common problem of the mirror sticking in the up position...However, this camera DOES NOT have that problem at this time.

It uses OTF (off the film) metering system and can meter for as long as it takes - hiurs long even, and monitors the scene in real-time changing exposure time accordingly. There is no other camera model/brand, past or present that can do this.
