Sold Pentax KX (Silver)

I'm trying to make room for an incoming camera and have decided to sell my Pentax KX in silver chrome.

The camera has recently been CLA'd by Eric Hendrickson (06//2022), which included cleaning/lubricating the shutter and film transport, calibrating the meter and adjusting the shutter speeds (the receipt for the CLA will be included with the camera).

I've film tested the camera since the CLA and everything works as it should.

Cosmetically, the camera is in very nice condition, with some bright marks in several places on the chrome body. There are no dents/dings or other major blemishes and the leather covering looks new. The battery compartment is clean with no signs of corrosion.

A really great shooter that I will surely miss!

Yup. I had a heck of a time trying to get an in-focus photo of it through the viewfinder, but you can (hopefully) see it in this shot. The lens was set to f5.6. It looks perfectly clear (and in focus ) in real life.

Good stuff! For anyone looking at a KX, having one where the ADR works is a bonus. (most don't)

Both of my KX's the ADR works. What is wrong with those that don't work? The prism came off or something?

Dunno mate, but every single one I checked over had a broken ADR. I think a knock may dislodge them - so a sign of a roughly handled camera?

Which is why logan2z would be a good buy - everything is a-ok.
