After posting about my Chinon CP7 I ran a roll of film though mine, will develop this afternoon. It is easy camera to use, bright split screen focusing screen, readout bright enough to read in bright desert sunlight. Shutter and film advance is quite as well. sOnly quibble is that in P or A mode have no idea what f stop is being used.
A quick follow-up: I did send the Pentax MX to Garry's Camera for CLA and it just came back. It was a super fast turn-around at quite reasonable cost, and everything looks good so far. I look forward to taking more photos with the Pentax-M 50/1.7
