Hello,

I have a Pentax digital spotmeter that does not seem to work. It was working perfectly fine before. Of course I changed the battery, played a bit with it in case it was a contacting issue but it is not. Not sure what to do next. May be it is just the red LED inside that is gone. What do you think?
Anybody else had a similar issue ?

Many thanks

Delphine

LED's seem to last forever and a day. Has it been knocked or dropped? You may have a problem with the circuit board inside, only a specialist will be able to say with certainty

Specialist? Come on, if it was working before you changed the battery it is someting wrong with how or what you did when changing the battery!.. just go over it again, you will find the problem.. is the new battery even good?

It sounds like changing the battery was the first thing tried when it stopped working.

Repair shop, I'm afraid.

Correct, changing the battery was the first thing tried when it stopped working.
