anybody has an opinion on the Pentax mz-10? I figure this could be a good replacement to my pentax mz-5n (motor rewind unreliable)

I already have a mid-range 28-80mm (3,5-4.5) which has been given to me with a battery grip pentax fg and beautiful pentax FA 50mm f1,4.

I would personally go for MZ-30/ZX-30 for two reasons: ability to take multi-exposure pictures and diopter correction. ZX-10 has a panorama function and power zoom, but somehow I feel they're not as useful.

Shame about your MZ5n stopping to work properly. I'm on my second and is one of my top favourite cameras.

Good luck on your search.

M-88,

there are so many pentax auto-focus (compared to the Nikons) and meanwhile it seems the Pentax autofocus seem quite a lot fragile...
i will verify for the mz-30
thx!

I will finally acquire a Pentax Mz-30 with a mid range 28-90mm + a bag for 30$, unless the transaction turns out bad.
So the investment won't hurt in case the Pentax body stops working.

Just been given a Pentax MZ-30 although I knew it has a mirror lock-up.
Any way to fix it? (The foam is in good condition).
