Pentax Auto-Bellows Slide Copier (Excessive Movement?)

Does anyone have the Pentax Auto-Bellows III with the slide copier? I just purchased one, and it showed up in the mail today. What concerns me is that the slide copier has some play in it. I can essentially wiggle the arm that the copier is attached to (this is the arm that attaches to the main bellows unit) back and forth. Not by much, but I would have expected zero movement.

Before I reach out to the seller, can anyone tell me if this is to be expected?

I don't have one, but Is there anything to tighten or shim?

The screws that seem the most likely candidates are already tight.

The screw that holds that film holder extension to the rail is what keeps it from moving. Mine has no movement at all.

Could a nylon washer be put between the screw and the rail as a shim? (Better hardware stores sell a variety of them)
