hi,

So I recently acquired a 6x7 but the winder/film advance seems like it has a stripped gear. It doesn't spin the film forwards all the time, but will travel to the end of its motion and there is a feeling of jammed gears slipping.

Is there someone that can guide me through taking it apart to see? I've come so far as the picture and am trying to find an old link with some helpful notes I had saved somewhere but I don't think it was specific to this problem and any help is much appreciated!

Under that silver disk are four further levels. The 6x7 is a very complicated camera. As you are stuck here already I advise not to go further.

Even something seemingly simple as taking off that lever needs certain operating procedures in addition.
You seemingly already made one mistake.
