Hello everyone,

Recently at the end of one my rolls, I was forwarding the film advance to fully wrap up the roll when the film advance lever got stuck. I forced it a little and wound the film fully. However, it seems that the left side spool catch on the top is very tight, I cannot move it with my fingers at all, and if an empty spool is loaded, it barely turns. When I load film and advance it, after 1 or 2 pulls the tension is lost and the winder moves without advancing the film. I believe the left side just needs lube, and I tried what was shown in this video:

It moves a little more freely, but not as much as in the video. I can't really see where he is applying the lube, so anyone who can help that is familiar with the mechanics of this piece comments would be appreciated.

I have done this, with a small needle and a drop or two of Tri-Flo oil. You can see the spool top looking horizontally where his left thumb is as well as inside where the spool sits. Only move that one direction after a drop of oil and it should smooth out. I do not have my 67 apart to take a better photo for you.
