Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a Pentax 6x7 with one serious (or maybe not-so-serious) flaw - the shutter speed dial just spins and spins. The dial does not click at any of the speeds.

I tried tightening the screws and cleaning the contacts as mentioned by Dave Carroll (here: http://www.djcphoto.com/index.php/pentax-6x7-shutter-problem-solved/), but didn't have any luck. Turning the "knob" that the shutter speed dial sits on top of still doesn't result in any "clicks".

Has anyone had this problem and been able to repair / fix it?

Thank you.

PS - Battery out the entire time
