Offloading some of my camera collection! I have a Pentax 6x7 with Mirror Lock-Up. It includes the wooden grip and the early TTL metered prism. This thing is a beast of a camera, and is really a thing of beauty. Overall, the camera is in pretty good shape. Here's my breakdown:
- Mechanically, the shutter speeds, MLU, film transport, battery check light, etc, are all in great working condition. The only issue is that frame counter does not automatically reset back to zero when you open the back. This just means you have to use your finger to manually turn the dial back when you are done with the roll. The meter works, and is accurate.
- Cosmetically, the camera is in decent shape. Your normal scuffs and scrapes on the bottom (it's a heavy camera guys!). There is also a white spot where the "Inspection" sticker was, and in that area, the clear finish is peeling off a little (see photo). The meter has a small dent at the very top, but nothing that would affect the photos.
I am pricing this according to everything parted out in KEH. Because of the frame counter issue and the spot where the finish isnt perfect, I would rate the body and meter as "BGN" ($199 and $76 respectively) and the wooden grip as "Ex+" ($109).
I would like $300 for everything. You pay the shipping (aim for a large flat rate box) and I will take care of the PayPal Fees.
