Pentax 6X7 instant film filmback: What film size it uses?

Hi..

I got a mint FORSCHER POLAROID PROBACK FILMBACKwithout instructions for a Pentax 6X7.

Does someone knows what particular Polaroid film size it used?

Just wondering, to see if Fuji is still making the right film size for it.

Appreciate any information that might help me use it if is still possible.

Any of the Polaroid 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 pack films (all discontinued) or the Fuji equivalent.

The Polaroid 600 series, like 667 or 669. Unfortunately Polaroid out of film business. Someone trying to revive the film, SX70 film to start, no 600 series replacements yet.

Polaroid 667 and 669, despite the designation, were part of their 100-series, not 600-series films.
You can get that size film from Fuji.

But i don't know which series, 100 or 600, the Forscher back takes.

Fuji's excellent instant films, 100c, 100b and 3000b, will all work in that back. Make sure you get the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 size and not the 4x5.

Fuji instant film is readily available online from Freestyle, Adorama, B&H, Ultrafine, etc. Here in the San Francisco Bay area, there are at least two retail camera stores that keep it in stock.

Based on the information provided I visited the Fujifilm page and found three products that are within the size range given. (3.25" X 4.25")

These are:

FP-100C Color ISO 100
FP-100B B/W ISO 100
FP-3000B B/W ISO 3000

I'll buy a pack of FP-100C just to try it.

does anyone know if fuji instax wide is also compatible? it appears o have the correct dimensions

The impossible project releases special edition 100 series film packs from time to time. They also sell directly and have a few stores that sell as well - some of them have the earlier editions of 100 series flavours... yes some were actually marketed in different flavours.

No.
only fuji pack film, the stuff that's +- $10/pack.
