Hi. I'm upgrading from my 35mm rig to Pentax 645 right now and I'm wondering has anybody used the Pentax 67 lenses on the 645 body with the adapter ring? If a person is to do that would it work out OK or would the adapter ring act like a short extension tube and mess with getting the focus to infinity?

Thanks.

I've used 67 lenses on the 645 and it works fine. I have the 645NII and the only thing you lose is the aperture value display in the viewfinder and the value being written out to the film in the data area. This is the same as if you are using one of the 645MF lenses. If you have an older 645 body there may not be any apparent difference. The 67 macro extension tubes work as well but as on the 6x7 you need to use stop-down metering.

Roger.

The 67 lenses do have a slight telephoto effect although you do retain infinity focusing except with the 67 fisheye.
