Hello! I managed to somehow break the mirror on my Pentax 645, so I will be purchasing a new camera. I was looking at the Mamiya RZ67 body, and was wondering if anyone knows if I can use the Pentax lenses on the Mamiya?

Is it going to be difficult finding an adaptor of some sort, so should I just stick to buying a new Pentax 645 body?

Thank you!

Get a new body the are reasonable for first gen...
645 lens may not have coverage for larger 6x7 image size and probably vignette as well...

As far as converting the mount...forget it....
Usually a compromise...

P645 is a good camera system, get a new replacement body and shoot on!

The image circle of a 645 format lens will likely not sufficiently cover the frame of the 6x7 format RZ67, even if you get it to mount. Better chance of 'adequate coverage' with longer FL than with shorter FL, as the image circle size typically grows with longer FL

More importantly, the RZ67 has no shutter in the body, the shutter is in the lens. Most (all?) Pentax 645 lenses do not have in-lens shutters.

Look for a clean 645n. Nicer to use than the first 645. As noted above prices for 645 lenses have risen since they work on the digital 645 cameras. The 645n will autofocus, but the autofocus lenses are really costly. Manual focusing on the 645n is nice, aided by a focus confirmation indicator. Ken Rockwell (for once) has a good writeup on the 645n.
You should be able to find a shop to re-mirror your 645, but probably costly.

If only the mirror is broken a competent repair shop should be able to fit a new one. My AsahiFlex IIa, dating back to the mid 1950s, needed a new mirror, among other things. It was accomplished. You might consider moving up to the 645n, a nicer camera, IMHO. Ken Rockwell also agrees, mirablile dictu! The 645n can use autofocus lenses, although the digital 645 cameras have driven the price of all used lenses up; autofocus lenses are for me unaffordable. The 645n is nice to use, settings via dials as the film gods intended, it also gives a focus indication for manual lenses. The 645nii adds mirror lockup, but according to The Luminous Landscape mirror lockup is not needed.
Here in the US Eric Hendrickson is the man for Pentax repairs, but there is a long line awaiting his magic hands. His addy is https://pentaxs.com/

Sorry for the almost double post! For whatever reason my browser didn't display the prior message before I'd composed and posted the second! Arrrrrrgh!
