My take: it's not a camera for everybody, but I hope it helps the market and that this is a step towards more sophisticated cameras. Manufacturing is a tough business, and Ricoh appears to play the long game, so we might one day see an SLR from them again.

My friend already ordered one! I am almost 110% sure that soon "Pentax 35" will follow, same body, with full frame. If that happens, I will buy it, and then exchange with a friend of mine .

Other than scale focus, has nice features ISO up to 3200, looks like exposure can be compensated. Unsure of the shutter, lens seems to be wide.
