There are two adjustments that affect the film counter that you can see after removing the top cover. At the 12 o’clock position of the film advance “stack” there is a u-shaped armature that is on an eccentric. It is what engages with the ratchet on the bottom of the film counter disk and pulls it forward as you wind the film advance lever. At 5 o’clock there is an adjustable flat spring that catches the ratchet each time it is pulled forward. The flat spring only engages the ratchet when the door is closed. The front eccentric has to be adjusted so that it pulls the ratchet forward enough to advance the ratchet by one and a half teeth, and the spring can likewise be adjusted so it catches the tooth Try not to mess with the lower flat spring. It adjusts the frame spacing, and you don’t want to mess that up. This is hard to describe and it is tedious to balance the two adjustments. I could only get mine to work up to 23, but that is all I needed.l so I stopped messing with it.
