I intend to buy a Pelikan 1510 case (Cabin carry-on with wheels) or Storm equivalent (2720) for my field camera. The terrain where I will be dragging it will be rough (cobber stone path) and I thought larger wheels and stronger wheel axle supports will probably help. I will be ordering it from the internet as there isn't any shop that carries these where I live and I cannot compare them. I shall be grateful if you could help to advise the difference between the two (on the size and wheels, axle supports, durability, etc.)

For ease of carrying over really tough terrain where it cannot be dragged, I thought it would be nice if it can be secured (permanently or strapped) on a freighter frame (by Kelty, Wenzel, Knu-pack or others) or is there any company that makes special frame and harness for these cases?

I have considered and tried the Lowe road-runner and I think its compromised design in its harness (compared to its Pro-Trekker) is not really suitable to haul heavy equipment comfortably, especially on my injured back.

Many thanks and happy new year to you all! Wen
