He had a rather interesting career. He worked with some talented people like Frank Lloyd Wright, Alex Calder and Louise Nevelson. He did commercial work, portraits, and had quite an interesting job in The Army during WWII.
I had Never Heard this guys name before. I dream about having a career like this guy did. Fascinating.
PLUS..... he was socially conscious and a decent person.

Sadly, video is not available in Canada due to rights issue.

I re-watched the DVD last night - very worthwhile. His control of lighting, such as interior shots of Taliesen West, was excellent.
I was just admiring those.
Would be interesting to know what kind of Dodge/Burn/Filter he went through to get those final prints. What i saw on The Internet looked stunning.

Taliesin...West...THAT was a brutal story. I had never heard about those deranged murders before. I believe she was his second wife.? She was already looked on poorly when they got together...hypocrisy of the day and all. Wright himself might well have been killed, had he not been away on business at the time.
Bizarre, Horrible and Strange

That was at the original Taliesin. Taliesin West was FLW's compound in the desert where he set up his architecture school.

Yes...Sorry.....MY Mistake.
I truly Meant To Say East.
Good Heavens. THAT was something that did not need to happen at both locales.
The maniac lit fires and then murdered people with a hatchet. I believe Wrights second wife was killed in the calamity.
It was.....must have been, a complete horror seen
