Hi, is anyone creating digital negatives using PDN with an Epson R2880? I am finding it a struggle to get a decent blocking colour using it. Also it is very difficult to get a smooth gradation of values. I have a paper white but everything up until this point is VERY blocked up. I will provide a scan of my Tonal Palette II later on. I'm laying down 20%+ ink and am using the Premium Photo Glassy setting. I have also printed wedges using other media settings, none of which look dense enough. Any help would be massively appreciated. Cheers

- What are the RGB values for your color layer?
- print the CDRP on OHP without the +20% ink, and only increase the ink if no color achieves paper white
- what kind of prints are you targeting for your digital negatives?
- you can't visually judge the negative density since it's all about UV blocking. Use a UV densitometer,
or just make a print from the CDRP negative. Don't forget you *must* derive a good base exposure first and use
that to print the CDRP.
- what does your correction curve look like? Once you have a color that
achieves paper white, the curve should linearize all the tones from
dmin to dmax.
