Saw this exhibit of Paul McCartney photos at the de Young Museum in San Francisco last weekend:

I recommend it if you're in the SF area. All the photos were taken in a short period in late '63-early '64, during the Beatles' meteoric rise to fame. Evidently, he was quite a good photographer, particularly portraits. He was prolific during that period, capturing what was going on around them at that time.

I saw it at the Brooklyn Museum, well worth it. Not because Paul was such a talented photographer, but because he had unlimited access, and because that era was one of those times when so many things were on the brink of change.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to Linda's private view in bath. She also had some wonderful images.

At the risk of sounding like @pentaxuser , was Linda's "private view in bath" held in Bath?

" I told her I didn't, and crawled off to sleep in the bath"...
Oh, wait, that was John, not Paul.
