I NEVER thought I'd have more trouble getting color chemistry that B&W!
Err .... I'll take your word for it but I'll hace to pass on that oneedz said:Paterson? Who are they?
Colour chemistry is always more trouble than B&W. One can develop B&W film in urine.

C-41 is still quite in demand. C-41 and RA-4 minilab chemistries have wonderfull shelf lives (multipart) and are priced at a small fraction of the little hobby kits.
But they did meet a market need. Unfortunately that market is now too small to be viable for them, I don't blame them for the decision.edz said:Paterson, I'd suggest, NEVER made colour chemistry. In the current market there is less room for boutique margins. They just purchased the commercial stuff for mini-labs and repackaged it.

Having just discovered the joy of producing colour prints with Paterson RA-4 at room temperature I am more than a little disenchanted with this news, anyone recommend suitable alternative room temp chemicals available in the UK ?

Dave Miller said:http://www.silverprint.co.uk list RA4 chemistry. Tetenal COLORTEC RA4 being available in smaller quantities, and you won't get much cheaper than their SPEEDIBREWS RA4.
pentaxuser said:Anyone know of one? By the way the Roger Hicks site said that Fotospeed was going the same way as Paterson so we can eliminate two of the cheaper providers of colour chemicals.
It's worth pooling our knowledge of U.K. sources on this one.
