Past of a Stranger - Photographic time travels into the past, captured by strangers.

Wow, that's something else!
Whomever shot those was a pretty darn competent photographer alright. The compositions and subject matter suggest that this may be some kind of promotional series, intended to capture the spirit and color of the country.

Yes, it was definitely not a snapshot photographer.

Happy New Year!

I have just published a new collection:

This collection of 35 mm slides documents hikes through Norway and Sweden in 1963. Wide valleys, mountain landscapes, and details of nature are complemented by photographs of the travelers on the road, conveying a vivid impression of the experience of nature and travel in the early 1960s.

Enjoy browsing through the past,

I've lived in NYC most of my life so I was attracted to these in particular. Great job. I;ve been to most of these sites. One comment, The church labeled St Patricks is actually Trinity Church at 89 Broadway at the end of Wall Street, NYC.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for the info. I did some more research — it must be St. Paul's Chapel.

I've changed it.

Thanks,
André
