I need both the inlet and outlet elbows for an 11X14 Zone VI washer. Actually it is a bit larger than 11X14, however that is the size print for which it is designed. The inlet hole is about 5/8" OD and the outlet elbow is about 1 1/4" OD. Calumet has some elbows in stock, however they are both too small. Any ideas where one might find these? I'm thinking perhaps a pet/aquarium store. They both have a fitting on one end that accepts a piece of tubing while the other end is threaded. I do have the nut for the larger fitting. Thanks, Bill Barber

One suggestion: I would contact Alistair Inglis at www.alistairinglis.com as he is in the business of acrylic products and very knowledgable about such fittings. His number is on his web site as is his e-mail address. The more specific you can as to the technical specs of the fitting you are looking for the better. Give him my best.

Cheers!

A well stocked plumbing supply store should have them, if not in plastic, then in brass.

Hello Bill,

Don't know if you're Zone VI 11x14 washer is as old as mine, but the fittings on mine look like standard plumbing items found in any hardware store or Home Depot. Oops, I see that Eric already said this...sorry.

Anyway, good luck finding the parts you need.

I got the inlet at Home Depot. I replaced the barb fitting with a compression fitting to use [pec] line for the plumbing. They are standard size plumbing fixtures.

It looks like the outlet is a 1" threaded male end with a 1" barb and the inlet is a 3/8" threaded male end with a 1/2" or perhaps 3/8 barb, neither elbow being available at Lowe's or home depot or the local plumbing supply place. I'll keep looking. I'd like to keep it near original in the event it needed to find a new home in the future. That being a possibility as I get settled into a new darkroom and discover what I do and don't need. Bill Barber
