Good news from agfa: the unit which produces the plastic sheet base material for films will be reopened. This, as stated, is specially important for other filmmakers like ilford.

News from the german newspaper "Handelsblatt".

For those who speak a little bit german and would like to get some more details: here the link to this article:

Sort of summary:
The part was sold to Hyosung which makes various industrial and textile fibres. Production is to restart with 50 of the workers, expanding to 70 by the end of the year. Film backing materials is apparently a growth market.

The insolvency administartors also continue to try to sell off other niche ranges, but the issue of the Agfa trademark continues to be a hindrance.

...and motorcycles. I've seen a shop here in Nashville that sells motorcycles and mopeds produced by them. OK, so I can't confirm their production of it, but it has their name on the frame and motor.
