I thought it might be interesting to put directions that come with paper and film here. With the changes that we have seen, this information will be lost.
I have the instructions for Azo, from a 1921 pack of postcards. By the way this paper still printed well.
I also have the Varigam instructions, 1949, attached. I have others I can add when I get them scanned.
This is from some Velox, undated. I suspect turn of the century because the 2nd page talks about exposing with Kodak Magnesium Ribbon. Using "...3/4, the measure provided, burnt at a distance of 24 inches..."
This sounds like a DAM good idea...
I dont have anything that vintage.. but I dont see why we couldnt amass the instructions that come with the majority of our film/paper/chemistry.
I for one am all for it.
Think "Mass Dev Chart", only relating to more things than just development.
I have some instructions from some 1982 Kodabromide. I don't know how to make a PDF file so if someone wants to do ot PM me with your address and I'll send it off.
Best, Peter Schrager
Here are the instruction from 1913 Velox. If you read them they tell you to test for the emulsion by biting down on paper. The emulsaion side will stick to your teeth. Ahhh the good old days.
I have a copy of the print on my other thread (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
I had to remove the PDF from the earlier post. It took up to much space. I will try to sscan it again.
