Hi,
Newbie question, I am embarking on B&W only developing and printing and would just like to know what darkroom paper people use (and why) I will be using a LPLC6700 colour head enlarger! It is forty years since I did enlarging etc so it's not just the paper that has become fogged!!
Thanks in advance for any advice etc. Paul.

Maybe you will get more answers if you will ask this question in more suitable darkroom forum here (there was a url link here which no longer exists) .
If you are mean traditional b/w process:
I use Ilford - as the most quality modern paper (especially Art 300) and Slavich - as the most cheapest for me.

But if you really mean color paper for bw photos - I can say that it almost impossible to get quality bw print on modern RC color papers. But the old soviet color baryta paper from 1990-th sometimes is suitable for this with traditional b/w processing, if you can overcome the fog.

you can get really great results on kodak endura paper when printing black and white film. But probably not the best idea since there is so many great BW papers out there
