Paper dryer foam roller replacement

Hi all,
I have a kindermann paper / print dryer machine, and the back foam rollers are completely dry. They have to be replaced. It's seems there are the same shape / models like the durst RCD dryer too.
As I'm finishing to install my darkroom, the machine is not in use now.

My question is: is it possible (I doubt it!) to find this rollers? maybe DIY alternative? or to remove them completely?

Thanks for your inputs or experience about it.

Sounds like the same problem with the foam roller in the stop bath position of the Durst RCP line of processors. Many of those RCP's were scrapped and/or used as spare part donors because of this problem. I've so far not come across a replacement.

Many years ago I managed to fix this problem on an old Ilford 4250 RC dryer ( I think it was this model ).
The foam rubber on the exit rollers had perished and the machine would have been thrown out, so thought I'd have a go since we had nothing to lose.

I bought a roll of foam door strip ( easily available - see photo ) and stuck it down in a spiral fashion along both rollers - and it worked perfectly !
It was tricky to do as I couldn't take the rollers out for some reason, but it solved the problem.
Note this was on the exit rollers, so I would imagine it might not work with wet paper on the 'wet intake' rollers.

I was given an RC print drier a few years ago with similar issues, it may be a Kinderman. I might try that roam John.

One thing to be careful of is the thickness of the foam. There mustn't be a gap between the rollers.

I have an aforementioned Durst with intact rollers and an Inford dryer too. I'd love to see someone solve this and I can take part in a group buy. We can all google around, but it would be ideal to have precise dimensions. Maybe there's some commercial off the shelf option? https://www.mcmaster.com/products/rollers/conveyor-rollers-2~/

Great minds think alike?
A number of years ago I acquired an Ilford RC paper dryer in a darkroom lot with the foam exit rollers disintegrated. I did the same thing, spiraled window sealing foam on the rollers. Years later it’s still holding up.
