haven't kept up with posts here... pease forgive me. (I'm busy "creating" my darkroom) My thanks to all for the ton of info here. I may wait a bit till I start playing with chemicals.. 1st goal is to get images on paper. Next goal, to make them into the semblace of what I want. That will get me to the point of playing around with papers...

.... a couple of points. The idea of chemicals lasting is attractive. That's why I started with Rodinal and then switched to Adonal for my negatives. The temperature thinie is also an issue. I am following another thread on that subject today. I suspect keeping the temperature right in a small closed space will not be so easy. Summer temperatures where I live get past 30ºC for a big part of summer and the night temperatures don't drop much. One day last summer I had the "cold" tap water running at 26ºc.
