Panel Discussion with NEXUS photographers
Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Harn is also an opportunity to celebrate the creativity that gave birth to the photography department at the University of Florida in the 1960s/70s. Photographers Uelsmann, Prince, Streetman and Fichter made UF a destination for students in pursuit of learning fine art, alternative photographic processes. Join us for a discussion with these photographers who made history by insisting on photography's ability to reflect an internal world as powerfully as documenting the external world. Each of their works are on view in the exhibition NEXUS: Experimental Photography in Florida.
The discussion will be followed by booksignings with the artists.
