Thought I'd share some of the testing I've done with my new S1R.
The first 2 were with the Leica 90-280mm f/2.8-4:
This was with my 43 year old Canon FD 400mm f/4.5 S.S.C., attached with a Novoflex:
I think the Canon compares favorably with the Leica? Makes me not feel so bad about being unable to afford the thing.
