Thank you Scootermm for that bit of nerd history. I remember going to school with my pocket protector filled with multi-color pens, pencils and a 6 inch plastic ruler. My trusty Pickett Slide Rule hung from my belt in its sturdy leather holster.

Those were the days... Slide rules - Analog calculators.....

I would quickly point out that I have never had to replace the batteries in my slide rule.

Thanks for the graphic. I have not seen one of these in years. Not a bad idea, though. I have ruined lots of nice shirts from ink stains.
