I have a pair of Olympus OM-1 cameras in pretty rough shape, plus a few lenses also not in great shape.

1) OM-1N MD: has a mirror that's desilvering. Base around tripod socket shows lots of wear. Has shoe 4, but it's cracked. I'm not sure how well it works, but the shutter sounds decent.

2) OM-1 (not motor drive capable). Minor dents on the top plate ends. Mirror is clean. Viewfinder is blurry on the left side (loo. I'm not sure how well it works, but the shutter sounds decent.

3) 28mm f/3.5 lens. Looks decent on first glance, but there are scratches (two fairly deep when viewed through the lens) on the front surface. Compared to a copy of the same lens in better shape I was surprised to see the scratches didn't make a difference in the one test I did a few years ago.

4) 50mm f/1.8 lens. Glass is decent, but dusty. Filter threads are damaged. Has obviously been bumped.

None of this is great equipment, but I think the lenses are useable. And if you could swap the mirrors one good camera could be made. This has been sitting on my shelf for far too long.

The highest offer above postage costs will be accepted, with all proceeds going to APUG. Heck I'll even donate the postage to APUG (up to $20). I know we are supposed to list a price, and not do an auction type format. But I hope in this one case it's OK since APUG gets all the loot.

Do I hear $20?

I almost forgot the best part. You also get a Vivitar 35 to 105 f/3.2 to 4 Macro Focusing Zoom. The barrel wobbles, the glass has spots (haven't tried to clean them up), and lots of dust. Seems to got to 1:2 magnification.

This could be used as a decoy to keep thieves away from the better camera equipment. I bet even they know it's not worth much. And if they do steal it, well the jokes on them.

I'll post pictures of all these beauties when I get a spot cleared in the office.
