I have just seen this Andy. I may have seen it more quickly if it had been tacked onto the other thread but on the other hand being able to refer to this as a self contained video is probably better and easier
Based on this there is no question that Orto 50 is ortho and that by the test I mentioned which is what you have kindly performed, that P30 is orthopanchromatic. Based on what little difference I saw in the colour red between P30 and Orto 50 in your previous comparison I am still left wondering why this should be. By the same token I am now curious as to what the red filter test would show with Ilford Ortho 80 where the reds in the videos I have seen do not seem to be any darker than P30? Is that really an ortho film or simply ortho-panchromatic that like P30 gets very close to the ortho "borderline "?
It might be as simple as the way that scanning and my vdu work to give a false impression of the rendering of reds in both Ferrania films and Ilford Ortho
Had I been in your shed looking at prints maybe I'd have seen that Orto 50 made reds darker than P30? What I'd have seen with Ilford Ortho remains another unknown
My grandson's football strip is red and blue stripes with the blue being light to a mid blue. If I want to turn this into that of InterMilan, am I better off using P30 or Orto 50 Certainly in Gregg Davis' video the blue in the colour chart came out probably darker than most lightish blues in pancro films Would that blue have been darker. the same or lighter in P30 v Orto 50
Here's the Inter Milan strip: https://www.google.com/search?tbm=shop&q=inter milan kit&sxsrf=AM9HkKl3coJEFetBvZroFNTx7d12Qwn7Kw:1696982469761
Based on what you got with Orto 50 and what you know of P30 which of them would turn out a better " Inter Milan "

PS I hope you don't mind if I open up the Inter Milan question and only the Inter Milan question to others as well
It's just a bit of fun

Orto 50's reds are darker, while P30's blues are lighter. I would probably go with Orto... just for that darker red rendering. I think the P30's rendering of blue is too light, ending up black and white stripes, like an ice hockey ref's sweaterI think the blue should be rendered slightly darker than white.
Good test!
I'm sticking with TMX and TMY-2
I will stick with Kodak Plus X, Kodak Tri-X, Ilford FP4+ and Ilford HP5+, thank you.

I have 1000' of 70mm Plus-X aerial film. Leaves me wanting for fresh T Max
Thanks Andy, I appreciate the videos you're making.Alright @pentaxuser, this one's for you! I exposed a few frames yesterday, with and without a red #25 filter...
