Would someone remind me where I can get tech info on this developer? Isn't this a 'tanning' developer rather a staining developer like pyro or am I confused? Do I still need a UV densitometer to correctly plot curves with this developer?

Thanks.

-Mike

My suggestion for anyone who does not have a wide band densitometer is to print the negative of the step density wedge on the kind of paper you intend to use. If you use VC paper, you can print it through different filters to see how many steps will reproduce with each filter. The number of steps between black and white times the density of each step is, of course, the scene brightness range of the film-development combination.
