Aside from my newly found love for pinhole, I do love my Holga/LOMO/Lo-Fi stuff. I started in 2004 while in Paris and London and continue today. This is part of my Cuba series from 2019. Its my LOMO LC-A with Lomogrophy 400 negative film. One of my desert island cameras (considering I have film and processing available) is the LCA-LCA Wide and LOMO 120 .

I would love to visit there just to photograph the cars. Unfortunately I have entirely too much fear to go.

The people are some of the warmest I have ever met. Happy to see you. When it does open you should do it. We had a 4 hour tour in a classic convertible and we had seen so much. These images were in Havana and Cienfuegoes which is beautiful. Bottom line: It was safe and never once did we feet threatened.

Absolutely beautiful colors and a wonderful perspective. Yeah, I would go in a heartbeat - a fishing pole and a bottle of rum is all I want.

I have spent a lot of time in Cuba. It's everything you say and more. Wonderful warm people. Cuba has been open to the world for decades, just not the US.

Your images are wonderful!

Fear of what? Cuba is a fabulous photographic destination, and the people are gracious and friendly. You feel safer in a US city? Just pack your film cameras and go. Read Our Man in Havana before you go (and watch the movie).

Fear of what?

Oh yeah the medias; the greatest, most vile, terrorist organisations.

dont be a dick mate.

Chis might have a fear of flying, he might be agrophobic, it could be anything.

Likely the fear to return as communist...

Have I offended you, sir?

I've never heard that term, which is pretty amazing considering my vocabulary at times. Probably a good name for a jock strap. The marketing possibilities are almost endless. I like the New Dick Mate 2000™myself.
