Overexposure + shallow DOF + cheap grainy film = 20 years younger.

That's the result I got with a K50 mm f1.4 shot at 1.4 and a cheap chinese film called "Lucky100" I found in SH (the shop owner recommended NOT to buy it).

True - this quality is actually excellent compared to its price.
To be accused of continuing production - but unfortunately this plant stopped production almost two years ago, I think.

I've never had good results with Lucky100. I have a roll left, this one is going to get a red filter for the whole roll.

Interesting, that wasn't meant to be a thread on Lucky100 , but how even a low quality film can be used to get certain effects....

This kind of grain is more suitable to an ISO 3200 to be honest, and I found it disturbing in other shots, but I liked this one.

Where you getting GP3 these days? I used to get bricks of it in 120 for a really good price. Now it's on ebay for Portra 400 prices or its scammers.

The 120-format GP3 is priced at $3.18 in China, and the company will produce 135-format film in July this year.

I was getting at about $1.99 a roll back in 2014-15. It was great! A brick for less than $20 free shipping, the only reason why I shot the stuff is because it was dirt cheap. $3.18 is cheaper than anything out there I think though...

Any overly troublesome issues handling the film in post? I'm not sure it would be a film I switch to as my main project film, but it sounds like it might be handy to have a few bricks of it kicking around.

Stuff is pretty good honestly. Rumor has it that it's a knockoff of Plus-X which is one of my all time favorite films.

Despite of living in SH for one year, I never heard about that film.

However, in the town there are a lot of good places for film cameras, rare lenses etc...and some people still do film, Leicas are popular among Chinese people I've seen.
