I was given a box (5 rolls) of this film in 220 format. It's dated 10/2005 and was stored at room temp.
Should I consider running it through my Yashica 124G or fire it in the trash? Really don't have the $$ to waste on expensive development if the film might be a dud.
I'd use it but I'd save it for stuff that less then 100% perfect colours wouldn't be an issue.
No weddings etc.
I doubt it's 100% dead it's just may have shifted. I think of it like cross processing. Not some thing to do if you want documentary results. But it doesn't make it a dud.
Hell put it on Ebay with all the info. I'm sure somebody will buy it.
It should be fine; I'd be surprised if you can see any (significant) difference between it and fresh stuff. Just don't use it for anything critical, as there IS always the chance that it could be foggy or have shifted color.
And pinholemaster is right; keep it cooled from now on and you should be ok.
