My buddy in this instance is my Blad. This poor old warrior has been through the trenches with me. Did duty as my professional commercial photography camera for decades. Traveled the world, bounced around in all forms of motorized conveyance and was chased (along with me) my Malaysian police. Eventually was sold,, and then bought back (by a dear friend) and given to me as a present. Today it's doing duty as my photographic companion in Dinosaur Provincial Park, AB.

I shot some FP4, HP5 and some long expired NPS 160. Used 80mm, 50mm, 150mm and 250mm lenses. Not one jam, hiccup or protest. Like two old war buddies we just work well together with a minimum of fuss.

Film will be processed in the coming days and God willing something worth sharing will come out of it. If not it was still a great couple of days.

On my first read of the title, I thought it was "Out of my body on the weekend"

My second thought was, "Whatever you took, I'll take two!"

Third thought, sweet camera and lens!

with all that time and miles on you both, do you look as good as your buddy????

Nah I think my buddy is better looking. This is me on a recent photographic assignment in Guatemala. We're both a bit scared up. My wife took this pic while I was listening to someone pontificating.

I've no idea why, but I really enjoy "set up shots" from behind the camera... and that is a fine looking camera. It's like a two-fer: seeing exactly what the photographer sees as he gets to work (the work in progress, as such) and then the end result. I'm looking forward to seeing what you both saw.

No idea why? Just reread your post.

We all agree with you!

Both you and your Hasselblad just keep on working. Good for both of you.

Good on you both, Eric. My buddy is ready to sue me for alienation of affection - haven't used in over a month while I play junior carpenter - repairing winter storm damage. 'Look forward to the images & hope you had a wonderful time getting them.

Hey thete HHS I was wondering where you went to. I am amassing quite a pile of exposed rolls of film. Just waiting for a crappy day outside so I don't feel bad spending an afternoon dev'ing film.
