Anyone should be able to enter, even if you have no socials (I added a multi-choice question that will give you an entry).
*ok, not sure the system gives an option for more basic entries until you go through some of the other more 'social' related entries. The best method is probably to sign up to twitter and then enter the contest. For those who have an aversion to socials, I find twitter useful to follow news from people and manufacturers of interest. For example, your twitter account can follow photographers and photographic companies and you can simply watch what they announce. You don't have to participate more than that.
It's somewhat hard to avoid. The 3rd party contests do a lot to manage the entries and viral spread, so signing onto their system is how they track everyone. They also allow for a random winner selection which I can live stream, and remove any questions of an authentic random winner being chosen. So far just over 60 entries, so it seems to be working.
