The price increases went into effect about a week ago (maybe two, I forget...) Either way, a $1 per sheet increase on 4x5 is steep.
Now that is a very good reason to by Kodak film instead!
I just saw this too.
I'm still trying to sell some Fuji 160S in 4x5 and I do not see anyone still selling that, even with a big price increase.
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Edit: and I don't understand why everyone on ebay thinks they can sell expired packs for $70...
The most recent information I heard (through Glazer's in Seattle and Lens & Shutter here) is that Fuji are still suffering from the after-effects of the earthquake and tsunami - their manufacturing capacity is really restricted right now.
Acros in 120 has already gone from $2.99 to $3.49 at Freestyle. Ouch!
OMG! 50 cents! C'mon...
Last time I bought Acros in 120, it was 50 rolls, so 50c makes a bit of a difference.
OMG! 50 cents! C'mon...
50 cents on a $2.99 product is a 16.7% increase. Considering that the annualized rate of inflation in the US is 3.5%, that is almost 5 times the rate of inflation.
